WhatsUp is an iPhone app that helps people decide where to go tonight. Instead of scrolling through endless lists, you describe what you are in the mood for and the app finds places and events that fit.
Type something like "romantic wine bar under $50 for date night" and it understands the mood, the budget, and who you are going with. Nearby restaurants, bars, and venues are blended with live events into one list, ranked by what fits best.
Results favor great local spots over the same big chains every time. If nothing nearby is a match, the app widens the search on its own, so there is always something to show.
